this is really warm and comforting. like the last line in your in your chorus with the pause
I know how you like strings (cus you told me ) this would has lots of room to be all strung out sorry about my terrible humor
"can't make the snow fall away around you in the summer time..."
great ending, makes you think about the ties you made in the song with a profound statement.

A very open performance.
Heartfelt vocal and an intelligent, thought provoking lyric.
Nice warm acoustic sound as always.
Great chorus and ending.

I've been staring at this blank space here trying to figure out what to write, but I don't rly know what to say anymore.. kinda hard when all your songs are that good.
Your voice and guitar playing mold so perfectly .. you totally set the mood for what you're trying to say.. what's weird is I can actually picture you performing even though I've never seen you in real life.
Talent, indeed.

ryan - you sound absolutely great singing this, perhaps your most prolifc song. i have always loved your music - from guitaring to vocals and lyrics but this one beats the band. the chorus has a hook that sucks me in and the lyrics wrap around me. bravo. it's good to be back! you're one of my favorite sonwriter's - all around.

The solo acoustic format is the perfect vehicle to showcase your incredible voice. It really shines through on this one.

Ha! Regardless of whether you become a 'star' my friend, you're an amazing ARTIST. The musicality of this one has less of an impact on me than Orion, but the lyrics here are way more poignant, my friend. This really speaks to me. Beautiful vocalizin especially 3:30ish to the refrain. Damn but you got a gift! Keep working it!

What's so great about you is that you don't need any embellishment on your vocals. They are so rich that they shine through anything you put them with, whether it be just a guitar or a full production. True talent!!!

OK -I'm offically a groupie. You are simply brilliant. Your voice is sensational, unique. Lyrically intellignet and a hint of Jeff Buckley in the tunes. Awesome
